I am using 2.6.5 on 2 different Windows 7 Pro 64 bit machines, one with
a 1600 x 1200 CRT, the other a really crappy laptop screen. The
register font follows the font used in the other parts of the windows on
both machines. I am firing up an old machine that is running Vista to
compare. It takes a long time to build up pressure on that machine, and
it will want to do a lot of updates.

In the meantime, I notice that you have dd-mm-yyyy date format, so you
may not be in the US. I cannot imagine why that would make any
difference, but something is different.
