That is definitely a problem worth asking about.

I have a question for you.  Are you accessing the help through the
GnuCash program or are you using a web browser to go to the GnuCash
website?  Unfortunately, I personally am not sufficiently familiar with
Linux beyond knowing that it is possible that you may not have a local
copy of the help files if you did not explicitly install that part of
the GnuCash packages.
