Price editor sort by price broken

When I sort several years' worth of exchange rates by price, I get
this weird sort order, see attached.

Is this a bug? Can it be fixed please?

P.S. If there's a way to convince GnuCash to show the rate as a
decimal and not a fraction, that would be great.
