Income Statement question

I found I'm able to do this using a Transaction Report.  The Accounts tab for
the Transaction Report allows me to specify a set of expense accounts AND to
pecify a filter where specific asset accounts can be selected for
inclusion/exclusion.

But I'm surprised the Transaction Report is the only one with this facility
in the Accounts tab.
