Font problem? Using Gnucash on a Mac Mini

Do you have any Unicode fonts installed. You might check that first. I imagine you would if its a new Mac Mini.

If you do have, then maybe try picking the unicode font in 
	Edit > Style Sheet > Default > Edit > Font.
