How to import two Gnucash files from two computers to one computer

Hi Claire,

I assume that you are going to have independent logins on the linux box.

Copy your account file to something like 
 /home/claire/accounts/mine.gnucash 

and copy his to 
/home/[hisname]/accounts/his.gnucash

this is mostly outlined in the FAQ about moving GC data from one system to 
another, with the slight extension to 2 users.

If you are only going to have 1 login which you share, (which I wouldn't 
recommend) then /home/[ourloginname]/heraccounts/mine.gnucash and /home/
[ourloginname]/hisaccounts/ his.gnucash would work too, you'll just need to 
File->open within GC if you want to load "the other file"
