Just a note: GnuCash is currently at 2.6.14; 2.6.1 is almost 3 years old, and numerous significant bugs have been fixed since that release. I think you might want to find a repository with newer versions, to reap the best benefits. I am not a Mint user, but I believe that Mint can use Debian repositories, like getdeb?
