Need a suggestion for getting this done:

I have a personal and a house banking account.  I add funds from my personal
banking account to the house account as a transfer, but would also like to
record this transaction in an income account: "Income:Partner
Contributions:George".  If I do this as two separate transactions say from
personal account to Partner Contributions, and then from Partner
Contributions to the house account I of course get a zero balance in Partner
Contributions.   Is there some way to get the funds transferred to and from
the correct bank accounts and yet get a resulting balance in the Income
account?  

Or am I missing something entirely ...
