As far as I know we have no strong guidelines other than use common sense:
- Use neutral language (as opposed to offensive)
- Structure your pages using structure markup (like headers) instead of presentation markup
(bold/underline). The latter can of course be used to highlight things
That's about all I could come up with :)
Your proposal of a top-level "Importing transactions" is a good one, so go for it! Adding it to
the root page can only be done by a couple of core devs (in an effort to reduce spam
pollution), so ask for it when you feel the page is ready for it.
I also believe it's a good idea to regularly report your progress and query for feedback on the
list. Most people are not monitoring the wiki and would not be aware of your work if you didn't.
