How to edit/delete auto complete transaction

I think the mail is in the coffin on this topic, but I'd like to mention
something on a similar vein that is a different thread but related:

Why is it that when I delete an account, that the suggested accounts show
the deleted accounts too? This is an auto-complete that should not occur!
