accessing GC file on a network folder

ok thanks all. Without understanding  how it happened (I mean a
.gnucash) becoming  a zipfile by copying it and then still pretenting
to be a .gnucashfile) apparently that  was  what really happened.

and  I  found out here

hope to change  fileextension to .zip.

then again unzipping the archive makes a new .gnucash file which I now
seem to be able to use again ... mysterious world
