It is ultimately an issue with Yahoo. Yahoo has implemented DMARC as a way to
combat address spoofing of Yahoo addresses. This causes various level of
trouble with Mailman mailing lists. The only step you (David T.) can take is
to indeed create another email account (not with Yahoo) and use that account
with gnucash-user at gnucash.org. Otherwise either the gnucash-user at gnucash.org
admin can do things like upgrade the version of Mailman and enable Mailman's
DMARC features. Or else all of the gmail subscribers of
gnucash-user at gnucash.org have to individually take steps -- eg whitelisting
you or something like that.
