IANAA, but honestly I don't think that you'd be audited over this. I
think you're worrying over nothing. It's not like the IRS *sees* your
invoices, they would only audit you if they think you're reported income
and taxes don't seem to be right.

Luckily for you this is an open source project, which means you can dive
