Hi rahul,

Please update gnucash to a newer version. These stack overflow issues have been fixed in 
more recent versions.

I'm aware Ubuntu 14.04 LTS doesn't ship a more recent version and that's unfortunate. You can 
use the getdeb repositories to work around that. This has been explained several times recently 
on the list if you don't know how to use getdeb repositories.
