Actually, Nathaniel, I think the correct process for lugge is to match the transaction in the second import (that of the loan) to the pre-existing transaction for the payment. Since lugge has already created the transaction and edited it to reflect the actual movement of funds, the second transaction is superfluous. Matching the incoming transaction to the existing transaction on import will remedy that. The second transaction will then hook up with the first.
Alternatively, lugge can simply delete the second transaction, from GnuCash, since he’s already accounted for it.
