Short answer: Not anytime soon.  Check the wiki to see how to request enhancements and join the other users that want such a feature.  In the meantime a lot of us use sub-accounts when we really that.

I'm looking at converting my Quicken file over to Gnucash, and one thing I founduseful in Q is the ability to 'tag' (used to be called 'class') a transaction for sorting inanother dimension. I haven't found anything related to 'tag' in the GnuCashdocumentation, is there a way to tag a transaction or to achieve the same result?TIA!_______________________________________________gnucash-user mailing listgnucash-user at gnucash.orghttps://lists.gnucash.org/mailman/listinfo/gnucash-user-----Please remember to CC this list on all your replies. You can do this by using Reply-To-List or Reply-All.
