Multiple share prices per day

Individual prices for things you bought are recorded in the transactions you
record for those "buys". They'll always be maintained (unless you explicitly
change them). GnuCash is an accounting program, and this is what it does.
The price editor is the place where the "most current" price for each of
your stocks, bonds, funds, etc. are stored. As such, it only stores one
price per day. If you continually download prices in the course of the day,
only the last ones will be kept, previous ones are overwritten.
