Colin, My backups of the database became silently corupted a while ago. 

I was gave the incorrect version numbers sorry. I'm running 2.6.12. 

Being able to debug it better I was able to figure out that it was an
issue with a specific transaction. The date shows up as nothing and if
I do anything with that transaction it segfaults.

I have created a bug.
