Dear Geert,

Thank you very much for your response. Let me give you the details you have
asked for as follows:

1. I am currently using Gnucash 2.6.13, I tried to downgrade but the problem
continued

2. Information about my computer:
/Processor: lntel(R) Core (TM) i5-3210M CPU @ 2.5GHz 2.50 GHz
RAM: 4GB
System type: 64-bit operating system
OS: Windows 8.1 Single Language/

3. Information in the trace file [1]
/* 19:28:07 WARN <gnc.app-utils> Could not spawn perl: Failed to execute
child process (No such file or directory)/

4. In the attachment you will see the images of two error messages I am
getting.

/A: when I open a file it complaings mostly that it might be used by another
user. This cannot be true as I am the only user on my laptop and it is not
connected in a LAN. I proceeed by the option of opening it anyway.

B: whenever I want to create reports especially BALANCE SHEET, the computer
stops with the Runtime Error, "Microsoft Visual C++" (see attachment).
When I click OK, it continues searching and then I get the second error
message that "Gnucash.exe has stoped working"/

Thank you.
Richard
