Undo reconciliation

Hi
I am a new user and when reconciling one of my accounts for the first time have incorrectly reconciled, when I was trying to go back to make a correction.
“An correction to balance” was automatically entered to the account.
The undo reconciliation is either greyed out or does not appear to work.
I just want to reverse the reconciliation for 31/8/16 and reset the statement balance, select the appropriate transactions and then reconcile & finish.
What to do???
