QFX import problem and work around, possible bug or new feature?

Hi Folks,
If I understand correctly, QFX is Intuit's proprietary take on OFX.
Looking at the OFX.net, there appears a press release (April 2016)
indicating there's a new standard 2.2 for OFX. It's possible that whatever
has changed about QFX involves Intuit's adaptation of the latest OFX.
Kind regards,
