Customer Report: Amount column

The Amount column in the customer report is odd to me for what a 
customer would like to see. It is not giving the the balance up to that 
date.  It appears to be just echoing the debit/credit.

Could this be changed to the to date balance?  That would also make the 
Totals lines make more sense at the end of the report.
