Budget reports show current income as negative value

I budgeted an income. Say 1000. But I was lucky and earned 1200. My budget
report shows budgeted 1000 but current -1200. My budget report chart shows
below zero (-1200). I found similar post about profit shown as negative
value. Am I doing anything wrong or is it a bug?
