Budget reports show current income as negative value

Marcin,
Sorry for the tangent, but one of your previous replies indicated you didn’t think both your checking account and income account should increase when you get paid. I was just trying to clear that up.
Since you say all is well with debits and credits, then the issue as I noted before and Edward also noted would be to check your setting for Reverse Balance Accounts and make sure it is NOT set to “none.” Of course you can keep it that way, but doing so means Income accounts will normally show as negative balances since they are credit type accounts.
However, you keep saying that the Budget Report is wrong, yet the pictures you posted are of the Budget Bar chart. The Budget Report is something else entirely. Indeed, I ran a Budget Bar chart on my budget and the income values are negative. That would be fine if the Budget worked in a way that you enter projected income also as a negative, but ideally the Budget Bar chart graph code should be fixed as nothing else about the budget works that way and people normally think of receiving money as a positive, not a negative value.
If this is the issue, then indeed, you’ve discovered a bug and should report it on Bugzilla.
Try running a Budget Report (located in the same menu as the Budget Bar chart at the bottom). Do your income numbers show properly as positive?
