A bank error I don't know how to fix

Anita,
Sometimes a bank will not correct a small error like that. If they don't,
you can consider it a gift and put it under an account called "Income:Gift
to Me" or similar so that you don't need to pay tax on it. That is what I
would do. If they do correct it, you can still use the same income account
to hold the $.50 in until they take it back.
