Upgrading from 2.2.9 to 2.6.15?

I don't recall if you needed to step through 2.4 to get from 2.2 to 2.6. 
I think 2.2 -> 2.6 is okay by itself.

Also, you *may* need to File -> Open your data file if it doesn't
auto-open by itself.

Beyond that, yes, you should just be able to run the setup.exe.
