[GNC] gnucash-user Digest, Vol 181, Issue 80

I am running 2.6.16 on Windows 7, 8.1 and 10 machines. Given the 
comments to which you've referred and the fact that GC is basically a 
Linux program being ported to Windows machines, I'd definitely wait for 
the dust to settle. I'm sticking with what I know works reliably for me 
for the foreseeable future. YMMV
