[GNC] GnuCash methodolgy

The budget module doesn’t enforce zero-sum practices, but it does give you the information to use it that way if you want.

What it is not very good at is the ‘envelope’ method of budgeting.

Budgeting should likely be handled outside of GnuCash if you have special requirements. While budgeting is financial in nature, it is not accounting.

GnuCash can certainly handle your personal finances. I use it daily. I also use the budget module to some effect.
