Reports issues

Dave kindly answered my previous mail, suggesting that first time 
Windows based reports generation was very slow, and he was right!

I retried and after quite a while it responded. However, while it and I 
were waiting it showed (not responding) in the top line of the screen, 
which was why I thought it had hung.

So lesson learned, wait, even if it says not responding!
