[GNC] GNUcash 3.2 file open issue

You were running it on a remote machine? Why wouldn’t you always run it locally and just connect to the network drive? (as you just experimented with)

Though, this would mean the problem is with Windows, not Ubuntu as you weren’t originally running it on Ubuntu.
