Fwd: What is the blue line all about?

Folks, I understand myself now what the blue line is for.  I entered the transaction today 25 March 2018 and the actual transaction date shown on my bank statement is tomorrow 26 March 2018.  Since we have not yet reached the date of tomorrow the program automatically enters the blue line.

Am I correct in my understanding?
