Hi,

I has trouble with Finance::Quote and ran the gnc-fq-update script. Now I
messed it up even more. Below are the details.

I have the latest GnuCash version from Fedora 28, that is 3.2 (build 3.2+
2018-06-24). If I did *Get Quotes* in *Price Database* I would get some
errors and none of the quotes would update. This used to work fine before
the last update.

I followed the Finance::Quote Linux update instructions from here
https://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Online_Quotes#Installing_or_Updating and ran sudo
gnc-fq-update. The script output was:

> sudo ./gnc-fq-update
...
Perl site library directory "/usr/local/share/perl5" does not exist.
Perl site library directory "/usr/local/share/perl5" created.
Perl site library directory "/usr/local/lib64/perl5" does not exist.
Perl site library directory "/usr/local/lib64/perl5" created.

Autoconfiguration complete.

You can re-run configuration any time with 'o conf init' in the CPAN shell

Date::Manip is up to date (6.72).
Finance::Quote is up to date (1.47).

This not only did not fix it, but made it worse. Now the *Get Quotes*
button is disabled and in *Security Editor* I see:

Warning: Finance::Quote not installed properly

I re-installed the Fedora perl-Finance-Quote 1.47-2.fc28 package but that
did not fix the problem. Something is messed up in my setup now. Any hints
on how to fix it?

Thanks!
Rares
