[GNC] crashing trying to do a simple split

David,

I think you're confusing View>Double Line with View>Basic/Autosplit/Transaction Journal. View>Double Line just enables the second transaction line to display the Notes field. It also shows the contents of the Split Action field from the "anchor" split for the open account.
