The transactions in the register are fixed, so those exchanges are at
the conversion entered with the transaction.
The PriceDB is only used when converting rates in reports (or the Chart
of Accounts). For that, the "most recent" or "closest-in-time" is used,
depending on the display case. This is because GnuCash is trying to
show you the value of your holdings at the date in question.
