Louis,

Lots of things can cause a QIF import failure. It's usually a formatting problem--a tag where one isn't expected, for example.

One common problem is that the dates in the file do not match the locale settings. That is, your file has DD-MM-YYYY but your locale uses MM-DD-YYYY. 

If the problem isn't glaringly obvious, it may be easier to re-export a smaller set of transactions to isolate the problem.
