[GNC] QIF import - Failed

The QIF Importer doesn't require this matching, and indeed has lots of
logic to test for four common date formats.  If there is any ambiguity
it will prompt the user to choose.  For example, if your dates look like
01/01/19, 02/12/19, 03/09/19...  Is this M-D-Y or D-M-Y?   If, however,
you have dates that look like:  01/13/19, 31/03/19 -- then it will
complain because you have conflicting date formats.   In no case does
the *QIF* importer care about your locale date setting.

Several things can.  Could you be more explicit about how it is failing?
What error do you get?
Is there anything in the Trace File?
If you run GnuCash from the console, is anything printed there?
