[GNC] How can I add statement balances to my accounts as checks?

I do not recall the exact scenario but I believe that the other day in
release 2.6.19, while I was in a credit card account register I changed
the amount assigned to a bank account which was already reconciled from
that bank account to a different bank account without unreconciling that
transaction line. If I figure out how I did that, I will ask if it can be
replicated in release 3.7.
