[GNC] Anyone noticing an issue with list messages 'un-threading'?

David,

It’s quite all right. I think it was just noticed first that some of your replies were un-threaded. But as I noted also, this isn’t isolated to just you. (and Derek might be on to something with the Android angle)

I guess we’ll see if changing Android clients ’solves’ the problem from your end. That will be an interesting test.

Certainly, concerning replying to certain messages, rather than just the last one in the thread, I understand completely. I too always hit reply to the message I’m replying to, not just the last one in the list. It makes the conversation more understandable and meaningful. (and easier to follow later) But I don’t think that is what is at play here or even a factor. I think something is partially breaking threads, so that some of your replies appear as separate conversations to the rest of us, but looking at the archive, appear as replies to the original post, rather than replies to down-thread messages. So the archive thinks they still belong together (somewhat) but our clients are disjointing them entirely. It is quite a mystery so far.

Thanks for the info.

Regards,
Adrien

Mail app on Android would most likely be the culprit, as they seem in a recent update to have disabled "Reply all" for no apparent reason. I've attempted in those cases to paste in the users email address, but I imagine that they are fucking with other aspects as well, not that I really know.

That happens with regularity on this list, and it annoys me. So, I return to the point in the thread to which I wish to reply.
