[GNC] how to delete a new file

I’m not sure what screen you are viewing but there should be a balance column for every transaction in every account register.

However, you do not enter the balance.

GnuCash calculates it for you.

There probably is no need to start all over, but if you must, simply delete the data file after you’ve closed the program. The next time you start, GnuCash will open with a blank book, which you’ll need to set up again.

You can also use the File > New File option which will open a blank book, and you retain the original should you decide to not delete it quite yet.
