[GNC] 4.0.1 attachments symbol

I have a thread on the -devel list about this.

There is an emoji visibility issue with GTK integration on MacOS. (the paperclip and chain-link symbols are in the emoji section of Unicode)

I thought a change was made to skip the symbols on Mac and always use the fall-back lettering (‘f’ and ‘w’) but perhaps that commit wasn’t included in the release. I suspect it will appear in the first bug-fix release but a developer would have to confirm this.
