To get a register, or part of a register out of GC and into  a spreadsheet you can...
 File > Export > etcThen import the csv file into the spreadsheetthen dink with it to delete or hide unwanted columns, etc...
Or do it faster and with more control via...

Open the registerClick Reports Transaction ReportEdit Report Options
And then just highlight the transactions with the mouse and paste them right into a Google Sheet !
Much quicker (to me) and you have more control in that you can select the columns you want and more.
I wonder if this works in Excel too?
