Firstly
When something happens that finally is found to be user error, we still
need to share, because it helps the next person who has the same
problem.

Secondly
Your messages do not routinely appear on the /Mailing List/ after you
post, because you are not subscribed to the mailing list. They wait for
the moderator, which is me.
You choose to view the Nabble version of the mailing list, where it is
presented like a forum.

Lastly
Posts cannot be deleted. Email once sent, is there and somewhere for
ever. A note to say that you had quickly found the problem is fine.
