[GNC] MacOS - could not complete critical test of libdbi

John,

FWIW I also occasionally get this error on MacOS using the default xml
backend.  Seems like it ignores my prefs and just opens a small Gnucash
window about 1/6th normal size. Clicking "File" on the menu options and
selecting my usual file from the last opened list re-opens the expected
file.
