[GNC] creating a Tranaction report

Do you perhaps have webkit2gtk-4.0 version 2.36.0? If so, try setting WEBKIT_DISABLE_COMPOSITING_MODE=1 before launching GnuCash. WebKitGtk changed the default hardware acceleration to always, and that doesn't work with the pages that GnuCash generates.
