[GNC] install 2nd app to start over

Well, if it sounds reasonable.  Installing a newer version will retain your
records and may solve the issue.  I'm assuming you've gone to the help
files to learn how to create the transaction reports.  They are not
necessarily intuitive and may draw from different settings.  Just be sure
to back everything up first.  I don't know how long you've been using
gnucash or what platform you have, but I also don't know if that would make
a difference in this case.  Just DO back everything up.  (Says the gal who
has been using Gnucash for 5 months.)
