[GNC] 5.0-1 (Flathub) issue

Having the option to choose either method is a good one, but I have no problem with the change.
In fact, I would like to see the option to select from multiple previous transfers. I have many vendors that have several transfer options and using the last one is not what I would normally choose. For instance, the state (US) & federal govt. make payments to us for pension, several tax relief programs, and tax refunds. This happens with my insurance company as well, for homeowners and car. Defaulting to the last transaction for the vendor still means I have to make adjustments to the accounts.
Thank You,

So, previously it would correctly guess in one or two characters.
One of the problems (or perhaps the ACTUAL problem) is the embedded
search. To new users that might be considered helpful for a when you
"don't remember what you called it' - but for experienced users (perhaps
decades) who rely on the program, it's a major PITA! Perhaps an option
in the View menu to disable it/choose?
Thank you for your response(s). I totally am totally appreciative.
