[GNC] invoice not showing sales in income account

Thank you Vincent for the details and Murugan for the suggestion.

V: I checked the account and it is like in your screenshot: no placeholder,
no hidden.
M: I tried to install a new version of GnuCash using flatpak, but there
was an error regarding bubblewrap and I did not go further. Tax season is
still "on" and I did not want to jeopardize more settings in my machine. I
can wait a couple of months till Debian releases a new version hopefully
with GnuCash 5.1

I decided to "play around" with one scratchy invoice and typed different
services in the Description, like Proofing, Desktop editing, Translation,
etc. Then, I jumped to the Income account field. Some of these services
were classified as "income:interest income" or the field was frozen and did
not accept clicks nor typing, but for some of them I could open the drop
down menu and select the correct income:sales account. After deleting the
incorrectly coded entries and keeping adding a couple of entries in the
invoice, it seems that the issue is solved... at least for now.

Thank you both for your time & help.
