There is a significant lack of information in this post.

When I attempt to deposit 20,000, it won't take for me either - mostly
because I don't include the cash in the deposit. (heh).

Seriously though, it would help if you expounded upon "it won't take". Do
you mean that GnuCash won't accept it? What exactly are you doing?
