[GNC] Problem with auto generation of entries

Hi All, (Again! I am trying to send it as plain text to see if the image gets through the server)

I have resent this with the image attached as suggested.

I have also just tried to edit one of my scheduled transaction and got this response:

*****
Couldn’t parse sx-debit-formula for split””.
*****

So I am really stuck until I can resolve this.

Below is my orignal message (edited for errors!).

All of a sudden my auto generation of entries (Scheduled Transactions) has gone wacky. To make sure it was not an issue in 5.8 I have upgraded to 5.9. I am using a Silicon M1 chip on an AppleMac.

I am not sure how to upload images and for some reason I cannot connect to all the pages on the Gnucash.org website (Installation and Getting Help are both stalling) so was unable to log there.

Here is the image although I think it will be redacted by the server.

[I have removed the image as the original post was returned as rejected. How do we post images in the mailing system?]

Image is now attached

For some reason it has started to generate a dialog window showing a series of messages about invalid transactions.

The transactions are still entered to the ledger but with no value.

Every time I open gnucash, the process is repeated and a new group of zero value entries appear which is now filling up the ledger.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Any solutions?

Geoff
