[GNC] How to Trigger Immediate Entry of a Scheduled Transaction?

Hi David,

I finally understand what you (and R Losey) are talking about. When I
looked at the list of Scheduled Transactions in the SLR I saw the three
columns labeled Transaction, Status, and Value. The Transaction column
has the scheduled date, and the Status column shows the word "Reminder"
with a down arrow/triangle to the right of the word Reminder. I kept
clicking on that down arrow/triangle and nothing happened. But thanks
to the added info from both of you I eventually tried clicking directly
on the word "Reminder" -- instead of that down arrow. And SURPRISE! I
finally saw the list of options that you and R Losey were describing.
(Hey, I wasn't kidding when I said I was new to GnuCash.)

So when I clicked on the word "Reminder", I then selected "To-Create".
And just as you and R Losey explained, the transaction gets entered into
the register. And in addition, the scheduled transaction in the list
gets updated to the next scheduled date. Perfect! That's just what I
was hoping to see.

So thanks very much to both of you. I feel embarrassed at my stupid
mistake. But I'm also a bit smarter about GnuCash now. Thanks again.

Tom
